Why it hits different

Built for players who actually want to play.

Safe lobby · wild fair game

Spawn protected. Duels on the hub pad. Once you hit the SMP wilds — PvP, grief, steal, and raid are on. No land claims. Your base is only as safe as you make it.

Semi-anarchy

Shard economy

Common questions

Straight answers.

Is this vanilla / claim SMP?

No. Vantage is semi-anarchy — hub safe, wilds fair game, no land claims. There’s a Shard economy, shops, auction, and bounties on top of survival.

Do I need a whitelist?

No. Open join on Java and Bedrock. Just add the IP and connect.

How do I install the Vantage client?

Download VantageSetup-0.41.0.exe from the Download section and run it. After setup, open Vantage and sign in with Microsoft. The launcher downloads Minecraft 26.2 and Java 25 on first launch.

What version should I use?

Native Minecraft 26.2. ViaVersion/ViaBackwards on the backends means many older Java clients can still join. Bedrock connects through Geyser.

Does voice chat work?

Yes for Java — install the Simple Voice Chat mod for your loader and hold V. Plain Bedrock clients don’t get proximity voice.

Where do I duel?

In the lobby: /duel <player> → they /duel accept. You’ll teleport to the duel pad where PvP is allowed.
